Where is my data stored?

On your device. Items, rooms, tasks, reminders and Vault files stay local and are not uploaded to our servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Do I have to use AI?

No. The app is fully usable without it. Remote AI features are optional, opt-in and part of HomeBrain Pro; core features work on-device.

What does HomeBrain Pro include?

Pro unlocks the remote-AI features: smart capture from photos and PDFs, AI draft review of notes, Ask AI with citations, and the Risk Radar / Home Handoff briefs. Everything else is free.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select HomeBrain, and change or cancel there. You can also restore purchases from the app's settings.

How do I back up or move my data?

Use the export option in the app's settings to save a copy of your data. An iCloud device backup will also include the app's data under Apple's terms.
